    Is Ghana Really A Democracy?  Ghana is officially a democratic state but a lot of our institutes' set up are not democratic enough. Democracy is government by the people;a form of government in which power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.(www.dictionary.com). By this principle it simply means that all major decisions and causes of action taken by the government must reflect the will of the people and also in the best interest of the people. As explained in the true spirit of democracy all institutions must serve the people and answer to the people. If this is properly done it might not always ensure the fastest development but it definitely abides by collective will of all citizenry. Though there have been democratic governments here since 1960 that were subsequently deposed by military regimes , Ghana since 1992 once again subscribed officially to democracy as it's form of governance form...

 Contraceptives are popular among the wrong gender Contraceptives for men are not many unlike the ones for women and most at times women are those that are mostly educated on contraception use, but a woman can get pregnant once a year but a man can get as many women pregnant as he pleases.  Through history it has become a norm that women are responsible for birth control and contraception.
